There was much fun and frivolity at the War Room last night during Sen City's Christmas In July celebration. Last nights party was a benefit for Sen City's outreach programs. Money was raised in a variety of ways but the most popular by far was the 'auction' of some of Sen City's residence. Volunteers for the auction agreed to a day of service for whoever bought them. Bidding was fast and furious in the hours leading up to the close of the auction, but the last few minutes saw a mad dash to get in the highest bid on the volunteers. At the end of the bidding, when the dust settled there was much laughing and good natured ribbing of the newly auctioned. Many ideas were thrown out as to how the new 'owners' should use their newly acquired servants. It should be interesting to follow up with those that got the highest bid, to find out how they used their day of service.

After the auction the music was cranked up and those in the club made their way to the dance floor. Since the theme of the party was Christmas In July patrons were dressed in their finest or naughtiest Christmas attire. The gents had a sexy Santa contest. Where votes were cast for a favorite Sexy Santa. And for the ladies there was a naughty elf contest, we can all guess how the ladies dressed for this! After votes were tallied awards were given to the favorites with additional monies going to Sen City charities.


The longer the evening went the more the alcohol flowed, and the more relaxed the party goers became. Some of them getting a bit more loose than others! All in all the fund raising was a huge success. Early estimates bring the money raised to a total of 22 thousand to be used for various outreach programs. The organizers of last nights event would like to thank all those who participated. As always the residents of Sen City showed their hearts are always in the right spot. Helping those less fortunate.
